Primary Care Physician:

A primary care physician is a general practice doctor who treats basic medical conditions. They are often the first doctor most patients see when they have a health concern. Primary care doctors administer physicals and required vaccinations to all ages in addition to diagnosing and treating common medical conditions from strep throat to bacterial infections and simple viruses. The physician diagnoses and also manages the treatment of chronic conditions including diabetes, and high blood pressure and either provides care or refers patients to specialists if the condition requires. They can also read and interpret x-rays, blood tests, and urine tests.

At Lincoln Medical Group, we specialize in preventative medicine and holistic health. One of our primary goals is to help patients learn to be healthy and maintain proper habits to promote overall health. This includes patient education on diet, smoking, and other lifestyle choices. Studies have shown that patients under the care of a primary physician tend to receive more total care, frequent vaccinations and to be better screened for serious, but preventable illnesses, including cancer.

At Lincoln Medical Group, Dr. B.A. Jinadu is the primary care physician. He received his Bachelor of Science from Central State University in OH. He obtained his Medical Degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York. He did his post graduate training at the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals in Houston, TX. He also holds a Masters degree of Public Health (MPH) from the University of California School of Public Health. He has had years of experience in the practice of General medicine and Pediatrics and belongs to various medical societies including Los Angeles pediatric Society and California Academy of Preventive Medicine. He has published numerous articles relating to health care and has co-authored a book.

Pediatrics:

Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the medical care of young patients from infancy, childhood through adolescence and early adulthood. Through close supervision of the child’s health the provider can follow the developmental milestones of the pediatric patient (along with the parents) and provide the appropriate anticipatory guidance. Periodically scheduled visits will also allow our physician to evaluate the overall health of the patients and may prevent serious health conditions.

At Lincoln Medical Group, your children will be in the best possible care when it comes to their physical check-up, initial and approved scheduled immunizations, and general day-to-day health. Dr Jinadu, our board certified doctor, has had years of experience in the care of pediatric patients

Medical Weight Loss:

At Lincoln Medical Group, a medically supervised weight loss plan is available. Through consultation, the physician will discuss the health issues relating to body weight and metabolism and the importance of healthy living. We will work with you in achieving your optimal weight control and recommend appropriate treatment modalities including medications, injections such as Lipo-Plex, Vitamins B-12 and B-6 and AMP are offered to meet your weight loss goals. Along with these medications, injections, lab work, a diet plan and exercise program is recommended. The doctor will meet with you on a weekly basis to monitor your progress and concerns and adjust the program accordingly.

Physical Therapy and Spinal Rehabilitation:

Physical therapy is a health profession concerned with and the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disease and disability through physical means. The role of the physical therapist is to evaluate and manage a program, which is designed to accomplish the goals set by both the patient and their therapist. Physical therapists use passive and active therapies to treat patients. Passive therapies include heat/cold therapy, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, traction, massage and joint mobilization. Active therapies include carefully monitored stretching, strengthening and other therapeutic exercises.

Physical therapy and spinal rehabilitation are beneficial for patients with all types of muscular skeletal pathologies from chronic low back pain to post-operative spinal surgery. Some common reasons to seek Physical therapy include:

  • Auto injuries
  • Work comp injuries
  • Disc injuries
  • Back and neck injuries
  • Shoulder injuries
  • Sciatica
  • Headaches
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Chronic fatigue syndrome
  • Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Repetitive stress injuries, slip and fall accidents, and other trauma.
Massage Therapy:

Massage is a “hands-on” treatment in which a therapist manipulates muscles and other soft tissues of the body to improve health and well-being. Varieties of massage range from gentle stroking and kneading of muscles and other soft tissues to deeper manual techniques. It helps relieve muscle tension and reduce stress. Although massage affects the body as a whole, it particularly influences the activity of the musculoskeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems which is a great adjunct to your physical therapy treatment.
